CPW- Cost Per Wear

Cost Per Wear is essentially the price of an item divided by the number of times you can wear that items until it starts to tarnish.
At River Indigo, we use high quality fabrics and local production- while some pieces may seem expensive- our items can actually be more cost effective in the longer run than some 'cheaper' options.
Our classic items are made in styles that transcend trends, in durable fabrics and well-made designs to ensure you are getting long-term wear out of your garments from us for years and years to come. For example, our Classic Shirt, costing R990, could be worn up to 100 times due to the high-quality linen and classic style. This means the CPW is under R10! Comparing this to a cheaper blouse you might find at a fast fashion brand, which you will only be able to wear a handful of times before it ends up in the landfill.
So this is your reminder to choose wisely! While fast fashion brands can be tempting, remember the CPW, which can really turn cheap into expensive, as you will have to re-buy items that easily tarnish over a few wears.
CHOOSE wisely, LOVE what you buy, WEAR your wardrobe staples!
Lots of Love
